Bedminster’s Secret Gardens is a delightful event where more than 25 private gardens reveal their hidden treasures. Taking place on the weekend of 15th and 16th June, you’re invited to explore a variety of enchanting green spaces. Let’s dive into the a few of the garden secrets:
Wildlife-Friendly Hedgehog Haven: Imagine a cozy corner where hedgehogs find refuge. This garden is a haven for these spiky little creatures.
Perfectly Petite Pink Paradise: A small but captivating pink oasis awaits. Sometimes, it’s the tiniest spaces that hold the most magic.

Here’s how to make the most of your visit:
Guide and Map: Grab a free guide and map from Riverside Garden Centre, the Southville Centre, or Windmill Hill City Farm available from mid-May. Alternatively, download it from bloomingbedminster.org.uk.
Donation and Sticker: When you visit the first garden, make a minimum donation of £3 per adult (cash only, sorry we can’t take card donations). In return, receive a sticker that allows you to explore as many gardens as you like throughout the weekend. Your donation supports community gardening and environmental projects across BS3.
Dog-Friendly Gardens: Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in many of the gardens. Check the guide for specific details.
Refreshments: Some gardens offer refreshments, with gluten free and vegan option on offer too. Consult the guide to find out which venues are providing delightful treats.
